>Megali Ammos beach is located on the south coast of Ammouliani and it’s supposed to be one of the best on the island.
It is a white sand beach with shallow crystal clear water that is very shallow and ideal for children to play. There is a beach bar with sunbeds and umbrellas and a lovely tavern if you get hungry!
There are sculpted formations of rocks around the beach that give it a unique character.
It is a quiet place in a beautiful landscape with an astonishing view towards Drenia, the rocky islets, also known as Donkey Islands and the tower of Ouranoupoli on the mainland.
