Feel the true rhythm of a Greek summer at the highly anticipated Arnea Folk nights 2026! Nestled in the mountainous heart of northern Halkidiki, the historic, stone-built town of Arnea is set to transform its picturesque Central Square into a vibrant open-air musical stage.

From July 23 to July 25, 2026, residents and travelers alike will gather under the stars to experience incredible live performances spanning authentic folk traditions, energetic modern laïka (folk), and nostalgic Greek radio anthems.

The Three-Day Live Music Program

Night 1: The Traditional Glenti / Folk night

• 🎶 The Vibe: Deeply emotional, cultural, and community-driven. Dive straight into the core of Macedonian and Greek musical traditions. This night features a masterful ensemble of master instrumentalists who will have the entire square dancing:

Night 2: Modern Folk Night with “Oi Akyvernitoi”

• 🎶 The Vibe: High-energy, passionate, and contemporary popular Greek music. The stage belongs to Oi Akyvernitoi, fronted by Argyris Mpazevanis and Apostolis Koutsintas. They are joined by powerful vocalists and a phenomenal live band:

  • Thalia Foropoulou & Christos Zygouris (Vocals & Guitar)

Night 3: Nostalgic Legends – “The Bands Reunite”

• 🎶 The Vibe: A grand summer finale celebrating the golden eras of Greek music under the theme “The Bands Reunite” . Sing along to timeless melodies performed by iconic figures from legendary Greek groups:

  • Christos Papadopoulos & Vaggelis Delikouras (from the legendary band Ta Paidia apo tin Patra)

  • Giorgos Sarris (from the beloved pop-folk group Zig Zag)

  • Eudokia Rapti (Vocals)
