Halkidiki is widely celebrated for its pristine turquoise bays, but as night falls on the Kassandra peninsula, the shoreline transforms into an intimate haven for authentic culture. Returning for its highly anticipated second year, “The Little Stage by the Sea” (I Mikri Skini dipla sti thalassa) music festival brings an exceptional lineup of live music to the breathtaking natural amphitheater of the Porto Valitsa Resort in Paliouri, Halkidiki.

Running from July 17 to August 28, 2026, this summer festival bridges the historic urban sounds of Thessaloniki with the rhythmic sea breezes of the Aegean.

A Diverse, Genre-Defying 2026 Summer Lineup

The 2026 festival showcases a stunningly curation of genres—ranging from traditional Greek laika and rebetiko to contemporary jazz, Balkan brass, tango, and enchanting musical storytelling for children.

Festival Highlights Include:

• Tango & Cross-Border Rhythms: Travel to Buenos Aires with a dedicated tribute to Astor Piazzolla by los Perdidos Quintet, and witness a spellbinding performance of Bergadis’s “Apokopos” by Natalia Kotsani, featuring world-renowned multi-instrumentalist Ross Daly under the full moon.

• Legends of Greek Song: Enjoy timeless folk and rebetiko melodies with Domna’s Ten Bouzoukis featuring Andreas Karakotas, an emotional maritime journey with Pantelis Thalassinos and Panos Dimitrakopoulos on the kanonaki, and the raw, authentic vocal stylings of Fotini Velesiotou and Rita Antonopoulou.

• Balkan Brass & Modern Jazz Fusion: Take a nostalgic trip with Vangelis Germanos, dance to the driving rhythms of the Salonique Brass Band, or witness an unforgettable international ethnic-jazz collaboration between Bulgarian virtuoso Nedyalko Nedyalkov and Pantelis Stoikos.

• Showcasing Fresh Talent: Meet Gangtet, a brilliant modern jazz quartet and Mikri Skini’s breakthrough winter proposal, performing their original compositions.
